December 19, 2005. Harmonic Studios (www.harmonicstudios.com) and Garfield Productions Ltd. (www.garfieldproductions.ca) proudly announce the second annual Battle of Bands 2006. The battles are to assist and promote local musicians allowing them to obtain public exposure and experience playing in front of large audiences. The final battle, January 27 to be held at the Pacific Coliseum on the PNE grounds, will be held during the CFCC Lunar New Year Festival and will be in front of thousand plus audience with many prizes and awards.

Last year, the Battle of Bands attracted more than 50 bands from US and Canada to participate. The final was held in Lansdowne Centre of Richmond featuring 6 Bands from the States and 4 bands from Canada. The winner was “Strange Attractor”. They recorded their first CD by a US-based private label together with their first MTV filming last summer.
